The short version

Pixelle is a puzzle game. You do not need an account. Your progress is saved on your phone. The game shows optional ads, and the ad service run by Google collects some device data to do that. If you sign in to Google Play Games, your progress is also saved in your Google account. We do not run analytics and we do not sell your data.

What stays on your device

Pixelle saves your progress and settings (levels reached, score, hints left, theme, sound choices) in the app's private storage on your phone. We do not receive this data. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes it.

Ads (Google AdMob)

Pixelle offers rewarded video ads that you choose to watch. These are served by Google AdMob. When an ad is requested, Google and its ad partners may collect and use:

Google uses this to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland) the app first shows a consent message from Google (the User Messaging Platform). On devices where the consent message applies, you can change your choice later under Privacy options in the app settings; that row appears only where the law requires the option. Everywhere else, use the ad controls in Android settings described next. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings (Settings, Google, Ads) or opt out of ad personalisation there. How Google handles this data: policies.google.com/technologies/ads and policies.google.com/privacy.

Google Play Games and cloud save

Signing in to Google Play Games is optional. If you sign in, Pixelle stores your progress (how far you have advanced) in Google's Saved Games so it follows you to a new phone or to PC. Google processes this under its own privacy policy and your Play Games profile. The Play Games player ID is used only for this cloud save, and we receive no name, email or other profile data. You can delete saved game data in the Play Games app settings, or by signing out and removing the game's data from your Play Games profile.

Android backup

Android's backup feature may copy Pixelle's local progress and settings to your own Google backup, if backup is switched on for your device. That copy belongs to your Google account and is handled by Google under its own privacy policy. We cannot see it. You can turn it off or delete it in Android settings (Settings, Google, Backup).

What we do not do

Children

Pixelle is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you think a child has used the app and you want help removing data, write to support@kettleglow.com.

Your choices and deleting your data

Where data goes

Google may process ad and Play Games data in countries other than yours, under Google's own terms.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update this page and its effective date. Material changes will also be shown in the app or the store listing.
